Historical fiction.

Historical fiction. Drawn from true events, about women warriors in 19th-century West Africa. the all-female warrior unit who protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey during the 17th to 19th centuries. Action packed with some violence. Rape scene only shows facial expression. There is some violence but nothing worse than what the kids see in Marvel movies. Highly recommend for teens and suggest giving them background on the Agojie and slavery.
