While it could really benefit from an "easy" option, this old school, side-scrolling, arcade-style shooter is clever enough to keep fans of classic games engaged. In Special Agent Cyberduck, an artificial intelligence who calls itself Godbot has escaped and convinced all the criminal organizations in town to work together. Armed with a gun, and the ability to double jump, you have to take out all the bad guys, rescue any civilians you find, and ultimately defeat Godbot. That won't be easy, as this '80s-esque arcade game is rather unforgiving. Get shot three times, for instance, and it's back to the beginning of the level for you.
Being so tough isn't the only thing about this game that some people might find frustrating, though. As is so often the case with games that have a lot of action, and try to replicate game controllers with on-screen buttons, the controls don't always work as well as you might hope. Your enemies can also be a little dumb, walking off ledges into electrified traps and other hazards when they could just turn around and shoot you. Still, if you enjoy pixelated graphics, side scrolling shooters, or just games that look like they're 30-40 years old, Special Agent Cyberduck is some good old fashion arcade fun.
